[Geysers] Short geyser report

I have hardly been in the geyser basins -- briefly a week ago yesterday,  
twice on tour, and briefly on Thursday is all, and finally briefly today. So I'm  
going to report exactly one geyser.
 
Giant has NOT erupted since August 5, the interval now over 9 days.  
Apparently Grotto has had a series of "odd" eruptions, namely (if I understood  
correctly) either of very short durations or of mid-range "mini-marathon"  
durations. Giant (apparently, again) has had rather weak hot periods, even if of  
occasional long-ish durations. Today, as of about 1400, Grotto had been in  
eruption for 8 hours or more, so people are hoping for a good, solid marathon.  Stay
