Geyser Report Monday, September 21, 2015 It was clear and 30-40 degrees going in, dropping well below freezing shortly after I arrived at Old Faithful. The sky turns gray about 0615 on the way to sunrise. Boardwalks that were not frosty at first light, froze up shortly thereafter. 67 coming home--and a bit breezy. The pullout for the stock trail to the back of Biscuit Basin has construction equipment/supplies including what look to be metal I-beams. Work was in progess at the hot casades bridge midday, but no progress along Fountain Flat. Herds of bison were in Fountain Flat and along Firehole Lake Dr. 3 elk were grazing by the gravel trail from Castle bike path to the lower gas station. A coyote followed Jim Scheirer down the bike path toward Castle this AM.
