Lots of wet fog this AM which lasted well into the morning. I
listened to Grand from Castle and could see no sign of the bursts. I
left for Great Fountain, missing Beehive! Great Fountain was in early
overflow when I arrived at 0759. It's start at 0904 p=7 was still in
fog. The steam column shifted, delivering geyser droplets to my car.
I left before the 1st series ended to move the car, and arrrived at
Fountain to find it ie. Back to Great Fountain, now nicely sunny.
Again, it was sweater weather all morning as clouds moved in. Home
after the Gemini series ended.
Another driver (a tour operator) drove in reverse from White Dome to
Great Fountain this AM. Pehaps we need a sign that says "One Way is
not the direction your vehicle is facing, it's the direction it's
traveling"?
Many visitors do find Gemini interesting, even though it is not a
major geyser. That, or they are desperate for entertainment while
waiting for White Dome.
