I don't know who reported the 1648 for the logbook.  I think Sam Holbrook reported the 1655ns.  I htought there was a boil at 1648 that didn't quite reach a meter so I wrote down 1654 as the start of the eruption in my logbook.   But since I've seen very few eruptions and will be using Ralph Taylor's electronic data for analysis, if any.
