FW: [Geysers] Making Comments On Old Faithful Use Plan

Just a few items that I think are important.

1)     Soundscape: Mitigate noise hazards from all sorts of vehicles, boats,
aircraft and road/snow.

2)    Viewscape: Redo landscaping around the Inn.  Shade is needed so
replace evergreens with deciduous, such as aspens (precedent: Lower Ham's).
At least deciduous can be easily pruned.

3)    Access: No new restrictions to public access, which runs up against
visitor safety.  Visitors simply cannot reasonably expect complete safety in
a wilderness - duh.

4)    Smells / breathing: Okay, this is partly in jest, but do those 1970's
era, nasty smelling, particulate spewing diesel buses really have to drive
around the Park in 2010?  Cough-cough.

Just a reminder that the comment period is still open.
