Yes, the Inn can't work. However. if you've noticed, the New! Improved! Humongous! VC is so bloody big that is top squared-off area is (annoyingly) visible from lots of places in the basin - places you wouldn't expect. Like Grand. And Daisy. And Oblong. It would be cool if GOSA could help place small static webcams up there in its windows that look out on Grand. And Daisy. And Oblong (this one could also catch Riverside, Giant, etc.) No need to move and zoom in and out. Just stick them there, looking in one specific direction at one geyser, or group of geysers. Of course, a single controllable camera would also work to move around the northern part of the basin. You know the drill. lemons. Lemonade. It would be great if the NPS could take advantage of the temple's looming bulk this way. Would it be too optomistic to think about having a 2nd camera installed on the roof of the Inn? It would open up so many more possibilities for WATER confirmation and not leave me, or any other gazer, guessing on which geyser was producing the steam cloud behind the ridge. I certainly think that if GOSA has some funds to help the NPS with, this would be a great way to help. Most Humbly yours; John Warnock _____ Insert movie times and more without leaving HotmailR.
