[Geysers] Sales tax increase

This does not affect orders sent outside of California, but it does apply to
all in-state GOSA Store sales.

 

Effective April 1, 2009 (no fooling) the sales tax rate will increase 1%, so
for us it will go from 8.25% to 9.25%.  There will be another increase later
this year (haven't heard the effective date yet) when the Los Angeles County
0.5% sales tax increase becomes effective.  When that happens it will rise
to 9.75%.

 

Just thought my fellow Californians ought to know - grumble, grumble.
