[Geysers] geyser report 4/10/08

greetings everyone from good ol yellowstone park.  im back here in the park doing some preseason work based out of gardiner, mt.  but thanks to my job i get to go into the park quite often lately.  most trips so far have been to old faithful.  and thanks to that ive been seeing some good stuff.  on the way down the other day there was a grizzly crossing the road not to far out of old faithful.  then on the way back that day there was a newborn bison not to far down from gibbon falls.  havent see the little guy since then so not sure if he made it so far.  today while down at old faithful in front of the inn i was keeping a sharp eye on beehive. sure enough after a few splashes from the cone the indicator started and errupted for a short time.  then beehive did start.  not sure of th exact time but id say it was around 2:30 pm or so.  then a little bit later on the way out of old faithful i noticed a big cloud to one side of castle.  as we moved forward i could tell it was
 definitely Grand ie.  as i recall, i may have seen grand about the same time the day before.didnt get a good look that day.  but today it was definately Grand.
  looking forward to seeing some gazers down here soon.  stay tuned.  ill be driving around the park the next few weeks on the lookout for things happening.
