Never got around to posting anything Saturday and home a bit late on Sunday. Here is a summary for both days. Saturday, September 2 Down basin most of the time, the only calles I heard for Plume were at 0717 and 1213. Beehive erupted at an interval of 23h 30m after an Indicator of a full 23 minutes. Castle had a minor. Grand was T2Q on an interval of 7h 46m. Daisy gave intervals of 2h 57m and 2h 43m You already know that the Grotto that started at 0943 was the 23h 10m marathon that ended on Sunday morning (and which did NOT result in Giant that afternoon). Exciting to people, though, was that Oblong erupted at 0837 and 1126, giving the extremely short interval of 2h 49m. Sunday, September 3 Plume had intervals of 68, 68 and 69 minutes. Beehive's interval was 23h 02m, Indicator of 15 minutes. Lion had a series of 2 eruptions. Castle actually had a perfectly normal major eruption. Tilt's Baby was giving intervals of around 75 minutes. Grand erupted at 0751 (T1C) and 1629 (this during the long Giant hot period, so believed to have been a 1 burst eruption), interval 8h 38m. Oblong had two eruptions during the Giant recovery period, interval 4h 26m. Daisy had consecutive intervals of 3h 05m, 3h 03m, and 2h 25m. The 17+ minute Giant recovery hot period that started at 1622 was the disappointment of the day. Artemisia had a beautiful eruption at 0959ns, a north wind keeping the entire eruption completely visible from the overlook. The duration was in excess of 21 3/4 minutes. Atomizer had erupted at 0925 on September 2, at 1350 on September 3. That's a double interval of 28h 25m, and that's "right on the money." Given the possibility of Giant, people were hardly spending any time at all in the Lower Basin. Scott Bryan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
