Only into Old Faithful for the morning hours today, but quite a lot seen down basin: Daisy had an interval of just 2h 37m. Oblong, however, was overflowing at 0730 and still had not erupted as of 1130. On an interval of 12h 53m, Castle had a minor at 1113, duration barely 3 minutes. Grand from electronic to this morning's 2 burster at 1032 was an interval of 6h 35m. Grotto ended a normal eruption at 0745, just after Rocket tried (but failed) to have a major. The next Grotto began at 1058 (Grotto Fountain) and 1101 (Grotto). Meanwhile, Giant was on a kick of having frequent weak hot periods. A hot period was ie at 0720, proven by water still trickling from the platform at 0735. The next hot period was only about 45 minutes later, at 0801 (duration about 2 minutes). There was another at 0928 (d=2m 56s), and the last I saw was at 1054 (d=2m 17s). In addition to being of short duration, these hot periods had only Feather and Southwest vents, and Mastiff was virtually flat throughout. (The 0720ie hot period might have been somewhat stronger, but saying that is pretty much a guess.) Inbound, I saw Great Fountain in eruption at 0704; outbound I saw Fountain in eruption at 1142.
