There have apparently been several hydrothermal explosions in the area, and there is a photograph of an impressive jet of water across a river. I am pretty sure that the Rehai thermal area (near Tengchong) is the same as what I earlier knew as Balazhang. Tell me, Jeff, does the Geothermics article mention geothermal areas by name? Including Balazhang? Anyhow, at Rehai there are definitely geysers, but how many is very uncertain. In this case, would it be possible for you to mail a copy of the article? Frankly, $10 is too much to pay to ScienceDirect for a 9-page item. T.
