Could Scott elaborate on the post-Silex activity of Celestine?

Does Celestine indeed erupt following Silex activity?  Is this eruption
continuous or periodic?

Is the activity of Celestine caused by the cessation of Silex overflow
into the crater, or is it due to subsurface connection?
