Our SPUT editors, Tom and Genean Dunn, have once again done an excellent job in producing another issue. However, the number of articles is considerably less than usual. The SPUT needs articles written and submitted for future editions. And photos, too! Please send anything you would like to have published to both: TDDandNGD at adelphia.net tddatlasvegas at cox.net Send Gazer News (birthdays, marriages, favorite geyser, etc.) to Bob Berger at: srlb at eskimo.com Due to various circumstances the December 2004 issue was finally mailed today, Jan. 25. We are very aware how late it is and apologize for delays beyond our control. Rest assured it IS on its way despite rumors to the contrary. Our goal is to get back on track with the February issue. Shameless plug: GOSA Transactions Volume IX is printed and should be bound shortly. It will be available for sale early next month. GOSA associates' price is $33.00 and may discount that 10%, 15% or 20% based on their level. That includes postage to domestic addresses. Non-associates may buy it for $55.00. Obviously, this price encourages subscribing. There are other reasons, too. Besides receiving the Sput and being able to buy Transactions at discount consider the benefits of helping to buy more data loggers, which in turn provide information to enable us all to enjoy the geysers more. They also provide scientific data for research. Consider helping achieve the goals of improving and expanding the GOSA Website. Adding another webcam (or webcams???). All of this costs money which comes from donations and subscriptions. So to those who are not currently GOSA associates, please consider subscribing to the Sput. To those who already are, we'd like to express our heartfelt thanks for your generosity and support. Udo Freund -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
