[Geysers] Yellowstone microbes eating hydrogen

Here's an interesting article from (of all places) an astronomy blog
(which I highly recommend) regarding a recent discovery about certain
Yellowstone bacteria:

No mention was made as to whether or not these microbes are stored in
the Smithsonian, and if so, whether they came from travertine or
geyserite (sorry, couldn't resist).
