Geyser Report Thursday, June 9, 2016 To Norris this AM I went to the Whirligig-Constant area for the morning. Foot traffic dropped off dramatically late in the AM. When I left at 1P, the parking had been closed to crack-seal the road. I almost turned around to spend more time @ Norris with the basin almost to myself. No further attempt will be made to recover the person who fell into a hot spring @ Norris Tues. Newspaper this AM says there is nothing to recover at this point. A young visitor spotted a hat that had been blown into the basin and was concerned that there was someone underneath it. There was sufficient breeze to keep me comfortable all AM in the sun.
