Monday, September 2, 2013 This geyser report includes eruptions I saw and eruption times reported via FRS radio. Today’s big news was the eruption of Morning at 1248. It was raining during Morning’s 30-minute eruption, so photographic conditions were not good, but visibility was quite good for naked eye viewing. A slight breeze was carrying much of the steam just off the pool allowing really good views of the many blue bubbles and impressive bursts during the eruption. This was my first Morning eruption and was quite a thrill for me. Fountain’s next eruption was 2 hours, 12 minutes after Morning.
