I added 2 separate coyotes to my animal sightings this AM, both with
heavy coats of grayish-white fur.
There was a pair of merganzers near the Castle bridge earlier this
week. I've seen the Firehole heron only once, and bald eagles along
the W Entrance a number of times. The bison along the W entrance are
more numerous than I can remember seeing. They are enjoying the
grass, and the visitors are enjoying the bison. Fortunately there are
several large pullouts along that area, but drivers beware--of the
cars, more than the bison.

Note the rapid eruption seqeuence in the 15 minutes 1020-1035: Grand,
W Triplet, oblong, Riverside, aurum, depression -- things were
hopping!
