[Geysers] Grand without Grand?

This is normal post-eruptive behavior for Grand. Every so often it
catches someone by surprise because no one--well, almost no
one--deliberately goes to Grand 15 minutes to an hour after the end of an
eruption.

Immediately after an eruption, Vent and Turban may either continue or
quit. If they quit, they will restart exactly as the visitors described a
few minutes later--first Turban, then Vent. Grand usually splashes from an
empty pool on and off for a good while after an eruption--this is called
"afterplay." If Vent and Turban don't quit at the end of the eruption, and
afterplay begins faster than usual (it usually takes about 15 minutes), it
can build into a full eruption from a low pool. This is an afterburst.
Multiple afterbursts have been known to occur on the same eruption.

Vent and Turban can stop and restart repeatedly in the hours following
an eruption.
