Hi Brad,

Lucky you!  And lucky tour group!  I keep thinking my turn will come with
Black Diamond, but I'm pretty much out of time: my last day here is Labor
Day, then it's off to South Dakota for the next few years.  Oh well!  I'm
glad you got to see it.

Subject: [Geysers] Black Diamond

I watched an eruption of Black Diamond at 16:42 Thursday the 23rd of
August.  One burst appeared to make it to close to 50ft.  After the
eruption "Salt and Pepper" were black with ubiquitous rocks for at least 15
minutes afterward(had to leave on the tour).  This is my first eruption of
Black Diamond where I actually saw the whole eruption and not just the
aftermath.
