[Geysers] 'Quick Trip Report 11-3-11

Greetings and Salutation,

Well for 11-3-11 it started out as a very cold and foggy day.  The sun did
not burn off the fog until about 1100.  After that it was a nice day.  I
didn't mention it earlier this week but Castle has been doing frequent
minors so it has been hard to predict.  Grand appeared to do three short
intervals, it erupted on 11-2-11 at 1603 and the electronic time this
morning was 0640.  So it could have been one long interval of 14 hours 37
minutes or two eruptions with an average interval of 7 hours 18.5 minutes.
I'm betting on two intervals.  Then it erupted at 1252 for an interval of 6
hr 12 minute.  T2Q. Bulger was having major eruptions but Bulger's Hole is
not erupting, it has ice sickles growing in it.  Daisy had intervals of
about 2 hours 50 minutes.

Fountain was at 1056 D=33 and 1604 D=32 with two eruptions of Morning's
Thief after each Fountain.

No Black Diamond was seen, however Salt and Pepper was full of dark sand so
it appears it erupted overnight.  Oddly enough the Pepper vent is very weak
and mostly clear now but the Salt vent has most of the obsidian sand so it
is now dark.

Nothing from Fan and Mortar.  The general consensus is that F & M is
broke.

No Riverside was seen today,  At about 1130 when it likely erupted everyone
was at Fountain and for the late afternoon eruption I was already driving
into West.
