     As Trish Miller sat at Aurum very early in the morning on 29 June,
2011, she spotted a black bear nearby.  Luckily the bear was minding its own
business and continued toward the cabin area.

     Overnight 6/29-6/30 there was hail with rain at Old Faithful, so gazers
were not out too late.

     30 June was an interesting day with two short intervals for Grand, a
Pause eruption for Castle, and the Fan and Mortar marker finally washed.
The previous Fan and Mortar in the OF log book was between 17 June PM and 19
June AM.
