[Geysers] Old [photo in advertisement

I used this 1950s(?) YNP archives photo of Giant in the first and second editions of "Yellowstone Treasures" (pages 86 and 92). Thank goodness, in the third edition I was able to use dramatic recent pix by Pat Snyder (frontispiece) and Graham Meech (p. 92). I was grateful to be relieved of this historic view by gazers!

Look at the bottom of the attached jpg to see that this is a current ad. Examine the boardwalk in front of the geyser (wow, what a geyser) to get some idea of the photo's age. And look at how the people (especially the women) are dressed to get an additional idea as to the age. Fun.
