Re the sign, I'd guess it was a warning for fishermen and other visitors to look out for the discharge from Old Faithful, or some such. Yes, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Marler was up to something. From what I can gather he had virtually carte blanche in the geyser basin. My question: does anybody know the meaning of the sign in the left background, down the slope toward the river below Chinaman? Seems like an odd place for a sign.
