Just an FYI, thanks to this eruption 2010 is the 25th straight year in which
Giant has erupted at least once.    That's actually kind of impressive.  

 

And there is a data logger on it, correct?

This is a relay from Karen Low:

When Karen arrived at Giant today, she found Bijou off and evidence that a
lot of water had been on the Giant platform.  Then she couldn't find the
Giant sign....  It was under the boardwalk, and there were icicles hanging
from the platform all the way down to the ground.  Looks like Giant erupted!
I'll leave any other details to Karen.
