[Geysers] Shoshone GB Report (Sep 25 09)

You asked whether Knobby was seen this year.  On 1 September, Tara and
Carlton Cross, Dean Lorenz and I went to Shoshone and there was a series of
5 (I believe) eruptions of Knobby.  Following that series of eruptions the
water level came back up and it had cyclic small splashes but we did not see
another series.

I posted some pictures from the trip on Facebook, including a few of Frill
having an attempt to erupt with a long overflow cycle, followed by splashing
only about a foot and activity from the two side vents.  After this it
drained.  The Frill pictures are numbers 33-35.
