Well, here's one gazer who will be more interested in the geysers than the visitor's center :)

Well, that's beyond a bummer. That dopey square boxy thing that you can see all over the basin (on top of a building I thought was supposed to not intrude on the environment and be shorter than the east wing... don't laugh) is... merely for decoration.



I would suspect that there are no plans for one or more webcams in the boxy thing because it hadn’t occurred to them.  So I’m making the case.  Please consider it. Otherwise, all the geyser gazers will think of when we see that square thing sticking into the sky is... it’s mere decoration.

Some gazers mentioned placing the cam on the new VC.  The windows at

the top are merely for decoration as the top part of the building

involves the heating system. There are no plans at present or in the

future to put the cam on the new VC building.  At least that is what

I have been told.
