Dave,
I saw this episode and had the same conclusions you did. I also made about
25 screen captures that I still have. I was hoping maybe the person
operating the camera, who was obviously aware of the situation as the camera
followed the proceedings from the geyser to the boardwalk and back again,
could somehow notify someone in authority at Old Faithful. I was pretty sure
the VC was closed at that time however. It was pretty obvious to me that one
of these clowns was a concessionaire cook who probably just got off duty and
would be easy to discover his identity. He was quite large and obviously
knows the others. They were proudly taking pictures of each other urinating
into Old Faithful. They looked so proud of themselves. I also noticed one of
the guys getting burned. I cheered!

These fools deserve the maximum punishment possible if caught. I wonder if
any of the tourist waiting for Old Faithful at that time reported them. I
assume they could see it even though it was getting dark.

I was on business travel all last week.  When I looked over last weeks video
I found a surprise.  I was even more surprised that nothing seems to have
made it to the geyser list.  A group of six cone walkers were on Old
Faithful's cone for approximately 20 minutes on the evening of May 4.  A
number of them urinated on the cone, such a novel tradition, a two of them
rooted around in the catch basis.  One may have burned himself slightly, as
he pulls his hands up quickly and appears to drop a rock (20:53:31).  All in
all, quite infuriating.
