[Geysers] Geyser known along Madison River near campground?

Hi - upon speaking with an internet acquaintance who was viewing some Fan and Mortar photos I had placed on Panoramio, I found out that in *about 1986*, he and some friends were lolling in the Madison River near a hot spring on the north bank of the river just west of the campground, enjoying warmth in the water from the spring, when he experienced a sudden and apparently pleasantly temperate "shower" of warm water from the hot spring in question. I asked him about it, and he said he believed that the spring may have ejected water 4-5 feet above its pool over the river where they were swimming. It strikes me that in order to give them a "shower" it may have had to play higher than 5 feet, but nonetheless - he said the next day it was "gone" but could not be clear about just what that meant.

He gave the coordinates as:

Coordinates: 44^ 33'31.18"N and 110^52'23.17"W

This spot is readily visible as a creamy colored spot on Google Earth, very near where the road first comes close to the river west of the campground.

Does anybody else know of possible play from this, or any other hot spring, along the Madison River?

Thanks,
Bruce Jensen
