Steve Eide and I were in yesterday. No Giant signs moved. We're hopeful on F&M sometime, tho maybe it's waiting for Tara.

HUGE snowflakes this morning and more expected tonite and tomorrow. Will send report on last couple of days tomorrow. Plan to return on Thurs.

Bill

Dave asked me to write as he is offline at the moment. He has been capturing webcam snaps throughout the day and then creating a "video" depicting the day's events. We took a careful look at it, and the steam cloud in Cynthia's snap was present at least 2 hours prior to when she said she started watching. Also there was no large plume to distinguish the start of the eruption. The cloud did get gradually bigger as the temperature dropped.

  Oh well....

Steam cloud placement and distinct column looks to be Giant. While there was still light with the streaming web cam, I thought I could see the bright white of water above the trees. I started watching this steam column at about 2046PST and could still see it when the light was pretty much spent at 2103. Hopefully someone will see rolled signs tomorrow.

  Happy Trails...
