Returned home Thurs. night late and went in this morning. Kitt will report more fully. Oblong also went; I didn't note time.

Castle 0841 - minor
Plume 0853 1000
Grand 2303 (9/26 - monitor) 0856
Riverside 0930 i.e.
Lion 0945
Daisy 0946 i.e.
Great Fountain 1034 P2 SUPERBURST!!

I parked at Great Fountain at 1032 and saw heavy overflow and boiling. It reached 3 feet at 1034, paused 2 minutes, then at 1036 began surging higher and higher and THEN twin spikes to well over 175 feet...maybe 200. It drenched the boardwalk and some surprised visitors...I was down the road by the terraces...and rained on the parking lot. Blue sky day, temp. 51 degrees, and the spikes clearly visible above the massive steam cloud. HUGE wash over the terraces. All in all a lovely welcome-back experience.
