Does that mean my guess of 62 wasn't closer to 69 than the 55 of Pat? Is
this the new math?

I have no idea how many hours I've spent in the UGB, but I do know that the
August 21, 2004 Fan & Mortar eruption was my 47th. (Meaning, I think, that
Pat is closest at 55.) It was an eruption I almost didn't see; if Kitt and
Scott hadn't been down that way to check Artemisia and called splashing in
Main Vent, we all would have continued to think that F&M had no chance of
erupting since it had been only 1d16h since the last eruption. Also of interest
are the big Main Vent splashes that preceded the start of the eruption. The
start of the eruption immediately prior had also been preceded by large Main
Vent splashing, but according to people who saw both eruptions, the splashing
was larger and lasted longer the first time. My husband finds it amusing that
of the 69 eruptions I have seen, I've videotaped only 3.

Gee, I thought we were guessing the number of F & M's by Mrs. Monteith as of
the movie date, not the number of hours spent by her in in the UGB.
