Of course he doesn't mention that all of Iceland's geothermal power production (420,000 kilowatts) would only power the US for 3 seconds of the total US consumption (about 127,000 kw per second).   Current US and World geothermal power production can only supply about 30 seconds and 79 seconds worth, respectively, of the US need.
