I found this while surfing around this morning. Note that it is dated just two days ago. Scott Bryan --------------------- Web Cameras to be Set in the Valley of Geysers 28.04.2008 It is planned to set web cameras in the most beautiful but hard-to-reach sites of the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka to make them available for seeing on the Internet. According to representatives of the Kronotsky National Park, where the Valley of Geysers is located, experimental web broadcast will start in September 2008. Supposedly, the web cameras will solve at least 3 problems. The first one is high prices for helicopter excursions to the Valley that do not let all willing see the famous Kamchatka sightseeing. The second problem – the last years`s mudflow that partially deteriorated the Valley’s infrastructure. Finally, the Internet broadcasting is expected to shield the National Park from the excessive influx of tourists. **************Need a new ride?
