Old news: Beehive erupted for the 2nd consecutive day yesterday at 1458. The indicator was called ie with time for folks to get to a viewpoint. Beehive was churning and splashing again this AM--even better than yesterday AM-- but no eruption as of 3PM. The bubbling pool (one of a pair sort of across the boardwalk from heart spring) that looked like a snowglobe earlier this summer with white flakes circling up and down now has no flakes--perfectly clear bubbling pool for at least the last several days. Plume: 0845, 0940, 1035, 1135, 1234, 1329, 1426--the 6 I saw start to finish were all 5 bursts again. Lion: initial 0836, 0956--balked on the third with a couple of purrs and a little splashing. Castle: 0134elec, 1447 (I left UGB--still going at 8 minutes) Grand: electronic times reported this AM=1923, 0238; called at 0852 Oblong: 1046 Riverside: 1036 Daisy: 0909, 1224 (electronic times reported this AM=1748, 2057, 2345, 0247 or 0242[bad handwriting], 0605) Plate: 0840ie Great Fountain: 0741 p=8 per Jim Scheirer Tilts Baby: caught at 1019ie by Jim Scheirer I seem to be a wimpy watcher --even as mild as 50 degrees, after a few hours in the "breeze" on the hill with little sun I get chilled and bail. Additional data from the stronger folks would be welcome. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: </geyser-list/attachments/20070918/be19e2ba/attachment.html>
