Grotto was in marathon this morning, and therefore there was no evidence of
recovery in the Giant Complex.

Daisy was missed (or maybe I just missed radio calls), but at least I saw
its steam cloud at 1311.

Oblong 0726 and 1248.

Grand "was seen" at 0429, then at 1145 we got a T2C.

Lots of energy in the Sawmill Group. In one form or another, Penta is being
seen almost daily -- an intermediate phase eruption early in a deep drain last
evening near 1700, another intermediate or possibly only steam phase today
during a deep drain just after 0700. Uncertain was recently done when I was
there at 0730.

I believe Graham had gotten Lion's initial early, but then it erupted at
0634, 0753, and 0907.

Consecutive Plume's that I saw were at 0819, 0910, 0957. Other eruptions
were called, and I also saw it at 1311.

Aurum was 1117.

And of course, no doubt some saw Beehive on the Webcam. The Indicator was
seen at 1233ie, but based on the steam Jere and I saw from the lower parking
lot, it was going by about 1231. Beehive at 1236 was not real impressive due to
the wind that lopped a lot of the top off. Kendall Madsen said that the
close-to-cone "indicator" played about as high as did the Indicator during the
eruption... Note that Little Squirt was called by Steve Eide at 1225ie and,
having looked in that direction just a few minutes before, I think that time
might-maybe be near start.

At Black Sand Basin, the geyser beyond Opalescent was having occasional
splashes 1 to 4 feet high at about 0700, but I then saw nothing from it at
roughly 1330. Another geyser, or in this case probably spouter, is playing from an
old, reactivated vent about halfway along the spur boardwalk toward Emerald
Pool. It has been seen in past years, but not for a long time. Its action
reaches perhaps 2 feet high.

In mid-morning, I got to Fountain while it was in eruption, but Steve and
Graham reported that it started at 1009; the duration was 33 minutes.

Did I post the new Giant chart? I don't think so, so here it is. Future
charts will probably be confined to 2007 only.
