Interesting. I thought it was Jet, too. The three visible plumes (two
vertical and one steeply angled), the cone formation, the overflowing water
and the near and far ridge lines behind the geyser had me convinced that
this was a picture of Jet taken from the boardwalk near Fountain. Of
course, I haven't been out to Shoshone for almost 13 years, so I don't
remember Mangled Crater well. (Please, don't let my wife or in-laws know
its been that long since I've been out to Shoshone. They might question my
membership in the family.)

Sorry, too, because that is NOT Jet. It is Mangled Crater with the largest
eruption from it that I've ever seen. Note that the majority of Mangled's
formation is out of the left side of the photo. No point in argument, end
of story.
