Hi Pat, By my count, the 11/25/07 eruption was the 49th, or possibly the 50th if Giant actually erupted on 11/21. I have not heard any confirmation of other eruptions and I'm guessing we won't know the actual number of eruptions in 2007 until the electronic data is made available. --Tara Crossfanandmortar at hotmail.com

"Giant erupted 46 times in 2006. So far this year, at least 49 eruptions have been noted, the most since the 1950s. Geyser enthusiasts have also gotten a few sneak peeks at Giant on an experimental live, streaming webcam the Park Service has set up and hopes soon to debut officially."

The last count I saw on this list was 47, just passing last year's eruption number. That was the moonlight wc eruption on 11/25/07. While I am sure it has probably erupted since then (at least I hope it has), when were the other two eruptions? Does anyone know? or...gasp...does the newspaper have it wrong? Or maybe I missed a posting.
Please help.

Thanks much.
