I'm sorry, but I realize I failed to include (East) Sentinel in my report of a couple of days ago. On Monday, September 18, at about 0910, I found Sentinel's cone wet with the spring boiling furiously at a low water level. A minute or so later there was some weak bursting, just enough to throw water onto the river side of the cone. Which means that Sentinel is (or was two days ago, anyway) still active to some extent. However, I saw no activity in the small "platform vents" to the south of the cone. Scott Bryan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
