Here is the start of today's 1242 Giant on the webcam. Tara kept her phone on in her coat pocket so we could hear the call and capture pix of the hot period/eruption. This image was taken about 20 seconds after the "call" of the eruption, so the clock on the image is pretty accurate. The wind shifted a few minutes before Mastiff started erupting. Very odd (but fun) to hear the call of the start and watch it, sort of like you were stuck at work at the lodge and could only look out. Very, very cool.
