[Geysers] GIP Water Level

When I talked about high water in the gip over opening weekend, I meant it
was, for many hours, within a foot of the top. Gip high vs. low has always
been a relative thing. In August of last year the water was considerably
lower than this April - by 2 feet or so. Nevertheless, there were times
when we'd consider it "high" last year that was 12-18 inches lower than now.

Subject: [Geysers] GIP Water Level
How high is the water in the GIP?
Do the references to "high" water levels mean that it is near the top of the
vent, or is it spreading out to
form a pool?
