Upper Geyser Basin:
0535 Lion
0555ie	Little Cub

Shoshone Geyser Basin:
Walked through snow about a third of the way. Over Grants pass was not too
bad, it was below 30 degrees Tuesday night so the snow was frozen enough to
walk on top without too much difficulty . That is until we reached the
meadow on the other side, it had warmed up and the sun was shining on the
snow. Did a little posthole occasionally. Arrived a the basin around 1045.
Active geysers:
Trailside Geyser
Double Geyser
Gourd Springs Shield Geyser
Minuteman Geyser
Five Crater Hot Spring
Knobby Geyser
Bead Geyser 4 times & 3 closed intervals
	interval

1236	72 minutes
1357	81 minutes
1612	75 minutes
Several other smaller geysers I don't know the names of.
Lion Geyser is dormant, or

On the trip back the snow was much less sturdy to walk on. A trip that
usually in the summer takes me a little over 2 hours took 3 hours 55
minutes. Broke through the snow much more often on the way back than on the
way in. Ski poles recommended for this trip while there is deep snow. Saved
me a few times from breaking through and made it a lot easier to get back
on top of the snow when I broke through.
