Well, you wouldn't be able to see any geysers. Winter season closed on Sunday, March 13th. The only roads that will be open are from Gardiner to Mammoth to Cooke City, which is a good area to wolf watch, but not geyser gaze. The first roads to open for the spring are from Mammoth to Norris, Norris to Canyon, Norris to West Yellowstone, Madison to Old Faithful which all open on April 22nd. Here is the link to the park road opening schedule: http://www.nps.gov/yell/planvisit/orientation/travel/roadopen.htm diane clark <dclark at usc.edu> wrote: I'm contemplating a visit to Yellowstone April 5-10 but want to know if the park is even open...I should know but I don't. Can I drive? Is it snow coach only? Please advise and thanks a bunch in advance! diane Diane Clark Robinson Administrator Department of Cell and Neurobiology USC Keck School of Medicine 1333 San Pablo Street, BMT 401 Los Angeles, CA 90033 phone 323 442 1881 fax 323 442 2840 _______________________________________________ Geysers mailing list Geysers at wwc.edu https://mailman.wwc.edu/mailman/listinfo/geysers __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
