Notice the lovely geothermal power plant just north of the Steamboat Hot
Springs terrace.  Interestingly, it wasn't this powerplant (which is new in
the 90s) that was the cause of the destruction of the geyser activity, but
rather the smaller plant farther up the hill to the southwest.  

Sigh.  That used to be a fun place.

Using links to Google Maps, here are the approximate locations of many of
the
world's geysers (and a few pseudogeysers). For many, the exact
location of the geyser(s) may be difficult to discern.

Only Yellowstone and Steamboat Springs, USA, possess online,
high-resolution imagery. Also, I suggest porting the locations over
into Google Earth. Not only does Google Earth (GE) provide slightly
higher resolution versions of the satellite imagery, GE's elevation
visualization can be helpful in characterizing the basin. For
instance, at El Tatio or Puchuldiza, Chile, relationships between
elevation and sinter distribution are apparent.

The links follow no particular order, though they are generally
grouped by country.
