[Geysers] Fan and Mortar 11/09/04

Tuesday, when I got down to Fan & Mortar at 947 (after catching a Giant Hot Period, Feather ie at 936, stopped at 942), Bottom Vent was in eruption.  At 949, the River Vents came on, followed quickly by Gold.  At 959, right after Tara Cross got down there, Fan went into a classic lock.  At 1006, Fan started the eruption, the first burst went all the way over to Norris Pool.  It was a beautiful clear day, so there were rainbows in the steam and spray.
