F&M was yet another overnight eruption. I was so hoping it
would have gotten a little more regular than 3-9 days by the

<pre wrap="">Geyser Report Sunday, August 3, 2014
Fan & Mortar erupted overnight (FRS)
Beehive: 0746 (over 22hrs from yesterday's 0938wc GT)
water @ 0728, indicator @ 0731
Little Cub: ie at 0626 and 0803
Depression: 0652ie
Riverside: 0831ie
Fountain: 0914ie steam was still going over 20 min later before I
traveled out of sight
Great Fountain: was over (periodic bursts from deep in the crater) at 0914
Till: ie at about 0600 (forgot the time before I came to a stop to record)
Labial: ie @ 0933
Pink: ie at 1035
Narcissus: 1054 D=12min
There was no morning geyser call today, nor did I hear any electronic
times. The Castle sign was erased, but it appeared to have had a
major sometime after yesterday's 0951 major GT.
VEC did not acknowledge any of the geyser calls I heard this AM.
The sign at Great fountain had 2 predictions for yesterday.
Folks watching the bursts in the crater had gathered, thinking it was
preparing to erupt, a reasonable assumption.
Another 2 deer sightings today. In the trees just E of the 6 mi
bridge meadow, a couple of dozen folks had parked on the roadside and
walked WAY over toward the river looking at something. I was
surprised the terrain was navigable for that distance! The 2 deer
were the only large mammals I saw.
