<DIV>Will Boekel speaking here. Just a few announcements about Geysertimes. As
some of you may know Jake and I are developing an android app for Geysertimes
(Apple app much much later... but we are thinking about doing that in the
future). We are hoping to have it released by park opening, if not by then the
next goal is at the beginning of May before I start work at the Old Faithful
Lodge on May 2, and if that doesn’t happen then unfortunately it looks like that
the release will be delayed until after I am done working in the park in late
August at the earliest. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>A few notes about the database in the coming month. We do have a testing
database environment set up for the app to be tested on without actually doing
anything to the live database. However, there will come a point that we will be
doing full live testing with the live database before we release the app to the
store. So just keep that in mind in the coming month if you see a few bad
entries on the site during that testing phase (the entries will be marked as
coming from the app and will contain comments that designate it as a testing
entry). </DIV>
<DIV>Just one FYI if you are thinking of submitting a feature idea for the app
it most likely won’t be included on the app this year as we are running out of
time till our deadline dates so most likely it will not be included in any
version that is released this summer.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Also Jake and I have been working on a bunch of web updates for you to
enjoy and there will be more details about those later as the current focus is
getting the app ready for publishing.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We will be posting to our Facebook page updates about the status of the
site and any testing that is going on so please check there before you freak out
that someone broke Geysertimes or did something wrong.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>One last item, Thank you to the people that are willing to be my guinea
pigs and provide feedback about the app during the development phase:</DIV>
