<div dir="ltr"><div>Hello,</div><div> </div><div>You could consider some geysers in the side basins, such as Rusty, Jewel, East Mustard, and Shell Spring in the Biscuit Basin or Cinnamon Spouter (I hope I have the name right) or Spouter Geyser in the Black Sand Basin. They are close to the boardwalk and there is usually less traffic around. Also, they are smaller so they have less risk for thermal burns perhaps. You may want to contact Ralph Taylor and/or Dick Powell as they have done thermal cleaning around the basins and have the best idea on where the ground is solid and where it may not be. Spasm in the Lower geyser basin is another possibility. </div>

<p dir="ltr">I believe that any research involving taking water samples would require a permit, with or without Rocco. You may be risking a serious ticket.</p>
