Barbara took the watch during the morning, and then I recorded cycles from about noon until 3:00. Dean relieved me then, and as is often the case, Main Vent waited until I went up to wait for a Rocket Major before it began splashing!<br><br> These are the events as called by Dean Lohrenz:<br> <br> 1515 all of Fan's vents turned off<br> 1522 first splash in Main Vent, and splashing continues<br> 1535 strong splash in Main Vent (Kaboom!)<br> 1538 River Vent on; Main Vent continues to splash<br> Bottom Vent run-off has reached the river<br> 1543 River Vent pause; Main Vent splashes continue<br> 1555 Lower Mortar splashes are briefly above the rock<br> 1557 Bottom Vent eruption #1 (off at 1605)<br> Main Vent splashes continue<br> 1608 Bottom Vent eruption #2 (off at 1614)<br> 1616 Main Vent splashes x 3<br> 1618 River & High on<br> 1621 Gold on<br> 1624 Angle on<br> 1639 East Vent!<br> 1654 first pause<br>The duration was 32 minutes.<br><br>Fan was beautiful in the sunlight, putting water a little ways down the path to the outhouse.
