<div> I went out to Fan and Mortar around noon, and there was no marker. It looked like it had gone in the last overnight. Steam and no water was coming from most vents. The boardwalk was dry, so I thought it must have gone overnight Oct. 14-15. HOWEVER, OFVC rangers I saw were not sure the marker had been replaced after the Oct. 10-11 eruption. I have one more to check with and hope to see him tomorrow. More later.</div>

<div>It rained on and off most of the day...a good soaking rain. Snow could be seen on mountains, but roads all stayed open. My wildflowers still have not frozen, but the temperature is expected to drop to 12 degrees by Thurs. Good-bye flowers!</div>
