There were three event cycles at Fan and Mortar before Grand's window opened at 1300. The third one at 1133 seemed promising with Main Vent splashing and two pauses, but after Gold came on the water levels dropped and there was no eruption. F&M were in garbage mode during the wait for Grand.

At 1517ie there was a Bulger major, but the hole did not fill. This was after Sawmill ended and water levels were low in the group. High water levels near the beginning of a Tardy cycle seem to have a better chance of an eruption of Bulger's hole. Two eruptions seen by Dan Miller a few weeks ago were separated by a Penta eruption.
